VICKSBURG, Miss. — Baton Rouge-based Kimble Development is clearing away a bowling alley in Vicksburg, Miss., to make way for a retail center.
Four buildings are in the works for the site where bowlers gathered for nearly 48 years until it closed in 2007, said John Magruder, who sold the property along with Clay Commons LLC.
Michael and Mitch Kimble operate Kimble Development.
Its projects in Mississippi include retail centers in Natchez and Brookhaven, according to the company’s website. Its shopping developments in Louisiana are in and around Baton Rouge, Central, Port Allen, Lafayette, Donaldsonville, Ville Platte and Bayou Vista.
