Gov. John Bel Edwards was the 28th most popular governor in the country, according to a report by media company Morning Consult.

Forty-five percent of those surveyed approved of Edwards’ performance, while 33 percent disapproved, the survey shows. Some 22 percent were undecided.

The Louisiana numbers have a 5.6 percent margin of error.

The most popular governor was Massachusetts Gov. Charlie Baker, with 72 percent approval. Kansas Gov. Sam Brownback was the least popular, with a 65 percent disapproval rating.
