Whitney Bank formally announced Robert Schneckenburger, formerly the Baton Rouge market president of JP Morgan Chase, as Whitney Bank’s Greater Baton Rouge regional president.

Whitney also announced that Jeff Gould, a senior middle-market banker with JP Morgan Chase, will manage Whitney’s Baton Rouge middle market and corporate banking group.

Senior Regional President Duayne Richard said Schneckenburger and Gould’s senior relationship management experience, industry expertise and local insights will strengthen the ways that Whitney works with the region’s businesses and business leaders.

Schneckenburger has more than 22 years of commercial banking experience. He became Chase market president in December 2010. Before joining Chase, he served as a commercial banking executive at Regions Bank and as a commercial banking officer at Capital One.

Gould has more than 32 years of commercial banking experience and held a number of senior-level positions at Chase.

Richard oversees Whitney Bank’s West Region, the corridor which stretches from Baton Rouge to Houston. Schneckenburger will report to Richard and serve as Gould’s direct manager.

Henry Schexnayder will continue as the Baton Rouge market president focused on managing consumer and business banking and commercial lending. Steve Stein remains Livingston Parish market president; and Kevin Schexnayder, Ascension Parish market president.
