Jeanmarie Murphy has joined The Ehrhardt Group as senior counselor, working for clients in the wireless technology, tourism, banking and oil and gas industries.
Murphy moved to New Orleans to work as a unit publicist, supervising and executing on-set and behind-the-scenes media access and public affairs activities for clients such as Paramount Pictures, Warner Bros., The Walt Disney Co., Sony Picture Entertainment, Miramax, Lionsgate and Grindstone Entertainment Group.

BATON ROUGE AREA
Helen Seder has been named operations manager responsible for managing program administration and logistics for all LSU Executive Education open enrollment and custom training, in addition to providing support for special programming for the LSU Stephenson Entrepreneurship Institute.
Seder had a two-year placement with City Year Baton Rouge, where she focused on tutoring and mentoring youth and creating and facilitating volunteer events in the community.
Brother Edward A. Violett has joined Our Lady of the Lake College as vice president for academic affairs.
He served for seven years in Rome on the General Council as chief financial officer for the Society of Mary and most recently was on sabbatical while functioning as the mission and finance consultant for the Marianist Province of the United States based in Philadelphia.
Dell Guerra has been named chairwoman of the board of directors of the Lane Regional Medical Center Foundation in Zachary.
Guerra began her career as a registered nurse at Lane in 1972. She serves as chairwoman of the Lane board of commissioners and is the director of nursing for The Serenity Center of Louisiana in Baton Rouge.
William “Bill” Dufrene, senior vice president of the Alliance Safety Council, has been named chairman of the finance and business operations section council of the American Society of Association Executives.
The section council works to support ASAE’s professional interest section for association finance, business operations and human resources professionals.
Gwen B. Johnson was named president of the Baton Rouge chapter of the National Association of Black Accountants.
Other officers are Achilles Williams, vice president; Cassandra Woods, treasurer; and Kearia McCants, secretary.
Dinah LeBlanc has been named a mortgage executive and vice president at JD Bank’s branch, 300 Verot School Road.
She has previously worked at Chase Bank, Investar Bank and First Bank and Trust.
Retired NFL Pro Bowl quarterback Jake Delhomme has been elected to the board of directors of MidSouth Bancorp Inc., the holding company for MidSouth Bank.
He had served on the bank’s board since 2013. Along with his brother and father, Delhomme raises and trains thoroughbred race horses.
Dr. Andrew G. Hargroder, a bariatric surgeon at Baton Rouge General Medical Center, was appointed to the board of directors of MidSouth Bank.
The Jennings native is son of the late Dr. Joe Hargroder, a founding member of MidSouth Bank’s board of directors.
