The Coursey Plaza Shopping Center has been sold for $2.1 million to a group of investors from Chalmette.
Son’s Plaza Inc. bought the 15,533-square-foot shopping center at Coursey Boulevard and Hickory Ridge in a deal that was filed Wednesday with the East Baton Rouge Parish Clerk of Court’s Office. The seller was La Coursey Plaza LLC, which developed the center 10 years ago, said Wade Greene, an agent/broker with Maestri-Murrell Inc. Greene and Ben Stalter, also of Maestri-Murrell, represented the buyers and the sellers.
Coursey Plaza is 100 percent occupied, with tenants such as Anytime Fitness, The Tiger Paw Daiquiris and Grill and Signarama. Greene said the new owners purchased the center as a long-term investment.
