ALBANY — Deputies arrested two juveniles Wednesday in an investigation of reports that someone was shooting at moving cars near Albany, the Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office reported Thursday.
Deputies responded to a call of someone shooting out vehicle windows around 6:15 p.m. Wednesday, spokesman Perry Rushing said in a news release.
Upon arrival, deputies found two occupied cars with shattered windows, Rushing said.
One shot narrowly missed a passenger in one of the cars, Rushing said.
Both occupants of one car suffered minor injuries due to flying glass, Rushing said.
After a search, two boys, ages 12 and 13, were located and admitted shooting at the cars with a .22-caliber rifle, Rushing said.
Both juveniles were booked into the Florida Parishes Juvenile Detention Center with aggravated battery, aggravated criminal damage to property, and illegal use of a weapon, Rushing said.
