Livingston Parish sheriff’s deputies are searching for a man accused of breaking into several vehicles in a parking lot at a park in Livingston Parish before fleeing to Baton Rouge, according to a news release.
Alex “Bull” Warner Jr., 55, ran away from undercover deputies after they spotted him breaking the windows of cars in the parking lot of North Park, on Eden Church Road and Lockhart Road, Sheriff’s Chief of Operations Perry Rushing said.
Warner jumped into a maroon Chevrolet Suburban and fled to Baton Rouge, where deputies pursued him to Stacey Drive near Belaire High School, Rushing said.
Warner then abandoned his car near Belaire and fled on foot, Rushing said.
Warner is described as a black man, 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighing about 130 pounds, Rushing said.
