A Denham Springs man has been arrested, and two others are being sought following a home invasion off Joe May Road earlier this week.

The incident is believed to have been prompted by an earlier altercation between the men and the victim, Livingston Parish Sheriff Jason Ard said in a news release Thursday.

Three men waited in a vehicle near the victim’s home in the Pine Meadows Subdivision on Tuesday and, when he arrived, followed him inside the house without his permission, Ard said.

The three men then beat the victim, and one threatened him with a firearm, Ard said. The victim suffered minor injuries.

Marrace Felder, 25, 13576 Dunn St., Denham Springs, was booked into the Livingston Parish Detention Center on counts of home invasion and second-degree battery.

He was released Wednesday on $35,000 bail.
