A Holden man was killed early Wednesday morning in what is suspected to be a single-vehicle crash in Livingston Parish, State Police have reported.
Troopers were called to La. 42 west of La. 63 about 3:30 a.m., where they discovered the body of 29-year-old Mark C. Lineske, according to a State Police news release.
Authorities believe he was driving a 2008 Ford F-150 eastbound when he ran off the road entering a turn. The truck went into a ditch and struck a culvert, the release states.
Lineske was not wearing a seat belt and was pronounced dead at the scene, troopers reported. Troopers believe speed and impairment may have contributed to the crash.
