Two men have been arrested and a third is being sought in a Tuesday shooting north of Denham Springs, the Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office reported Thursday.

Deputies were called to 9398 Lockhart Road, where they found a 34-year-old man who had been shot once in the upper torso during an apparent armed robbery, according to a news release. The wound was not life-threatening.

The Sheriff’s Office is asking for help tracking down Cullen Pitre, 23, of 63370 La. 77 in Plaquemine, who is wanted on one count each of attempted second-degree murder and principal to attempted armed robbery with use of a firearm, the release states.

Justin Slinker, 20, and Derek Tauzin, 37, both of 31607 N. Corbin Road, Walker, have been arrested and booked into the Livingston Parish Detention Center on $250,000 and $175,000 bails, respectively.

Slinker faces one count each of attempted second-degree murder and principal to armed robbery, according to online jail records.
