Three stolen guns, including a sawed-off shotgun, were found Sunday night in Hammond, the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office said.

About 9:15 p.m., deputies were called to the Interstate Connection Trailer Park on Yellow Water Road after they received a report that shots had been fired.

They noticed Darious Davis, 21; Dedrick Pinestraw Jr., 19; and Bradley Oden, 18, walking nearby, and Davis “was concealing a large object on his person,” deputies wrote in a Monday news release.

When deputies approached the trio, Davis ran away. When deputies caught up with him, they found a Rossi .410 sawed-off shotgun two feet from Davis and compatible ammunition in his pocket, according to the release. Oden was carrying a .38-caliber gun, and a Rohm .38 special revolver was found near the site the three were initially spotted, deputies said.

The three guns had been reported stolen during a recent residential burglary on Yellow Water Road, the release states.

Davis faces one count of carrying a concealed weapon, one count of resisting an officer by flight and two counts of illegal discharge of a weapon.

Oden was arrested on one count each of carrying a concealed weapon, resisting an officer, introduction of contraband into a penal facility and accessory after the fact. He also faces two counts of illegal discharge of a weapon.

Pinestraw faces one count each of resisting an officer, illegal discharge of a weapon and accessory after the fact.
