A suspected burglar was arrested Monday after a homeowner in Tangipahoa Parish held her at gunpoint until deputies arrived.
Authorities were called to a home on Stafford Road, west of Natalbany, about 3 a.m., where a homeowner was holding 30-year-old Tyanna Wells, of Hammond, in place with a gun, according to a Sheriff’s Office news release.
She was arrested when deputies arrived and faces two counts of residential burglary.
Another suspect, identified as 21-year-old Lonnie Ray Pennington Jr., of Hammond, ran away before officials arrived. He was at large as of Tuesday afternoon and is wanted on two counts of residential burglary.
The suspects’ vehicle was at the scene, and detectives found a number of items linked to other burglaries that were reported earlier Monday night, according to the release.
