A man suspected in a sexual battery in a Hammond parking lot Sunday has been arrested, the Tangipahoa Sheriff’s Office said.
Investigators identified Brandon Scott Hudson, 31, of Ponchatoula, as a suspect. On Monday, deputies learned he may have been at a home on Tiger Creek Lane in Ponchatoula, according to the release.
When they arrived on scene, they found Hudson hiding in a bathroom and took him into custody. He was booked on one count of being a fugitive from justice. He had not been booked on any counts in the alleged sexual battery as of late Tuesday afternoon.
As of Tuesday morning, his bond had not been set.
