LIVINGSTON - A Baton Rouge man was arrested early Thursday after officers found 95 pounds of marijuana in his car, the Livingston Police Department reported.

Robert L. Seiber, 41, 2248 Rhodes Ave., was booked with possession with intent to distribute and traffic violations after police pulled him over for driving in an “unsafe manner,” Police Chief Randy Dufrene said in a news release.

Upon questioning, Seiber admitted that there were drugs in the trunk, Dufrene said.

Seiber was transported to the Livingston Parish Jail, where he remained in custody Thursday afternoon with bail set at $50,658, a jail spokesman said.
