Five people were arrested in a Denham Springs drug bust after deputies found heroin and methamphetamine, according to the Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office.

The Sheriff’s Narcotics Division and Special Response Team executed a search warrant Tuesday at 8471 Wisteria Drive and found $2,100 worth of meth and $100 worth of heroin, the Sheriff’s Office reported.

Three people who live at the house were arrested in the raid. Deputies also found both types of drugs in a vehicle parked in the driveway and arrested its two occupants.

Those arrested and the counts against them include:

Joseph Ryan Rousseau, 31; Jeremy Austin Hebert, 41; and Eric Vaughn Byrd, 38, all of 8471 Wisteria St., Denham Springs, each were booked on one count of prohibited acts/drug paraphernalia and possession of a Schedule II controlled dangerous substance, according to online jail records. Rousseau faces an additional count of illegal carrying of weapons.

Samuel Wright, 34, and Nicole Rae Sonnier, 33, both of 1112 B Florida Blvd., each were booked on possession of a Schedule I drug other than marijuana or synthetic marijuana, possession of a Schedule II controlled dangerous substance and prohibited acts/drug paraphernalia. Wright also faces one count of fighting.
