LIVINGSTON - A Holden man was found guilty of committing an aggravated sex crime, District Attorney Scott Perrilloux of the 21st Judicial District reported Thursday.

A jury deliberated less than hour Wednesday before voting unanimously to convict Jonathan Foy, 19, 28892 George White Road, Perrilloux said in a news release.

Foy was charged with assaulting the victim in late January or early February of 2009, Perrilloux said. Foy was 17 at the time, Perrilloux said.

Foy faces a minimum sentence of 25 years to 99 years at hard labor, Perrilloux said.

At least 25 of those years must be served without benefit of parole, probation or suspension, Perrilloux said.

Assistant District Attorney Matt Belser prosecuted the case, Perrilloux said.

The 21st Judicial District comprises Livingston, Tangipahoa and St. Helena parishes.
