DENHAM SPRINGS — Livingston Parish Sheriff’s detectives are looking for a person who entered four campers early Saturday at the Baton Rouge KOA on Vincent Road and, while the victims were sleeping, stole purses, wallets, computers and television sets.
Through a joint investigation with the Slidell Police Department, it was learned one of the stolen credit cards was used at a retailer in Slidell, according to a news release from the Sheriff’s Office.
The burglar — from images captured on surveillance video — is described as a white male with a mustache and goatee. He is seen in the video driving a white Chevrolet truck.
Detectives have also learned this same unidentified man used the stolen credit cards at other locations in Slidell as well as in Hammond, the Sheriff’s Office said.
Anyone with information on this case is asked to call the Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office at (225) 686-2241 extension 349 or Crime Stoppers at (225) 344-STOP (7867).
