The fall lineup of art classes offered by River Region Art Association begins Sept. 15.
In addition to a variety of drawing and painting classes, photography, jewelry-making and three classes for youths will be offered.
The River Region community art classes are held in six-week sessions that are offered four times a year. Classes are held at the association’s Depot Gallery, 1008 W. La. 30, in Gonzales.
Fees are $65 for association members and $75 for nonmembers.
The list of classes to be held Sept. 15 to Oct. 15 are:
Oil or Acrylic Painting Basics: 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m., Mondays. Taught by Jan Hebert, for ages 16 and older.
Watercolor Painting Basics: 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., Tuesdays. Taught by Darlene Morris, for ages 16 and older.
Jewelry Making Basics: 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. , Tuesdays. Taught by Robin Rotolo, for ages 16 and older.
Folk Art Painting: 10:30 a.m. to noon, Wednesdays. Taught by Mary Crochet, for ages 16 and older.
Drawing Basics: 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., Wednesdays. Taught by Chris Melton, for ages 16 and older.
Photography Basics: 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., Thursdays. Taught by Tom Walker, for all ages.
Drawing and Painting for Youth I: 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m., Saturdays, for ages 7 to 9.
Drawing and Painting for Youth II: 10:30 a.m. to noon, Saturdays, for ages 10 to 12.
Drawing and Painting for Youth III: 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m., Saturdays. Taught by Kayla Decoteau, for ages 13 and older.
Drawing and Painting for Adults: 2:30 p.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday. Taught by Marcia Eisworth, for ages 16 and older.
