The Women’s Missionary Society of Trinity AME Church 1420 S. Darla Ave., Gonzales, will host a missionary education study session on Saturday.
Participants will review the mission education curriculum on the theme “Our Christian Responsibility to Overcome Despair and Inspire Hope.”
Presenters include representatives from the Court Appointed Special Advocates program; the Rev. Cheryl Combest, of Grace Awakening Church; and Sister Emma Washington, of Prayer Mission Church of God in Christ.
Missionary Sisters Earline Blackmore, Lizzie Jackson and Reater Williams will provide overviews of the mission’s education curriculum.
The study session begins at 9 a.m. and ends with a free lunch.
The public is invited to attend.
