Jaguars basketball team takes second in tournament _lowres

The Louisiana Jaguars class of 2020 team finished in the runner-up spot in the Green Division at the recent Super 60 basketball tournament in New Orleans and the surrounding area.

The Jaguars finished as runners-up in a pool of 73 teams from as far west as California and east as Florida, a news release said.

It was the team’s fifth top-two finish out of five tournaments this year.

The Louisiana Jaguars organization, headed by Ascension Parish Councilman Travis Turner, has players in several age divisions and includes players from Ascension, East Baton Rouge, St. John, St. James and Orleans parishes.
