A pumpkin patch, hay ride, games, a petting zoo and barnyard-themed candy stations are on tap Saturday for the St. Amant High School FFA Boo at the Barn.

The Halloween event, set from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., will be held behind the high school, with visitors entering the shell parking lot on La. 431.

A costume contest is set for 4 p.m.

Proceeds from the event will be used to fight hunger in the community, FFA advisor Mandy DeLaune said.

Admission is $1 or one canned food item.
