Santa is coming to the Galvez-Lake area thanks to the Galvez-Lake Volunteer Fire Department’s annual program.
Christmas carolers will spread some Christmas cheer with Santa and his elves, who will be coming along to hand out candy canes to children, take photos and collect canned goods, new, unwrapped toys and monetary donations for the fire department’s adopted families.
Caroling begins at 6 p.m. each night and ends around 9 p.m. Green-and-red reminder signs will be placed at the entrances of subdivisions or streets on the morning of the scheduled route. All routes will be run, weather permitting, though there won’t be any makeup nights if rain falls.
