Clue comes to life

Teens are in for an exciting night of murder and mystery when the classic game Clue comes to life at the Ascension Parish Library.

The game gets underway at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Donaldsonville Branch Library, 500 Mississippi St., and at 5:30 p.m. July 23 at the Gonzales Branch Library, 708 South Irma Blvd.

Costumes are welcome but not required.

Business plan tips

Join fellow business owners and entrepreneurs for a four-part Business Plan Development Series at the Gonzales Branch Library at 6:30 p.m. July 20, 22, 27 and 29.

The presenter is William O. Hawn, business consultant with the Louisiana Small Business Development Center at Southern University . Discussion topics include business basics, business organization/management, marketing development and financial planning. Participants will develop a business plan designed for success.

PTSD, trauma session

Capital Area Human Services and the National Center for Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder are hosting a session on trauma and PTSD for the general public in a Lunch N’ Learn format, according to a news release.

The session will be from noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday in the conference room of the Gonzales Mental Health Center, 1112 S.E. Ascension Complex Ave.

No registration is required. Attendees are encouraged to bring a bag lunch.

An estimated 8 percent of Americans, or 24.4 million people, have PTSD at any given time, according to the release.
