St. Elizabeth Hospital will hold its 2016 Men’s Health Lunch, Be Fit 2 Fight, at noon Wednesday at Parc 73 in Prairieville.

The featured speaker at the June Ascension GOP Roundtable will be Bryce Barras, state director of the Convention of States. Barras will speak on the process of the Legislature’s passage of SCR 52, which made Louisiana the eighth state to pass an Article V calling for a convention of states to rein in the federal government.
The meeting is at 11:30 a.m. June 16 at Frank’s Restaurant, 17425 Airline Highway, Prairieville; cost of lunch is $18. The public and 2016 Republican candidates are welcome to attend.
