More than 300 students from communities across the north shore, including Livingston, St. Helena, St. Tammany, Tangipahoa and Washington, received certificates for either Hi-SET completion, technical diplomas or associate’s degrees from Northshore Technical Community College.

Northshore Technical Community College hosted its 2018 Hi-SET Commencement Ceremony at Church of the King in Mandeville on May 15, in which 128 graduates walked across the stage, having earned their high school equivalency.

NTCC hosted its 2018 Spring Commencement Ceremony on May 21 at Southeastern Louisiana University with NASA Engineer K. Rene Horton as the commencement speaker. Horton shared her life experiences, reminding the graduates to “put their best foot forward” and to “never look down on anyone.”

NTCC conferred 345 degrees in varying fields of Health Science, Academic Studies and Technical Studies. Area graduates include:
