Dutchtown High School varsity, junior varsity and freshmen cheerleader teams led a DTHS Cheer Mini Camp for more than 330 young girls June 1-5 at the school gym.

Hollis Orthodontics sponsored T-shirts, and Ascension Party Rentals donated bounce houses for use Wednesday and Friday of camp. Ninja Sno-balls treated participants who donated “Change for Change” to benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

The camp raised $2,820 for St. Jude through “Change for Change” and donating the $2 admission for “The Greatest Show on Earth” Show Off, which wrapped up the camp on June 5.

Camp sponsors were Jennifer Morrill, varsity; Jennifer Winchell and Michelle Bieller, junior varsity; and Chelsea Davenport, freshmen.
