Talented Central students put on Winter Showcase _lowres

The Arts and Letters Guild at Central Primary School in Gonzales presented its Winter Showcase, titled “Winter Lights,” on Dec. 18 to a capacity crowd.

Featuring vocal, dance and theatrical performances, the company was made up of students from first through fifth grade who were selected for their high aptitude in the arts.

Company members included Abby Lestage, Alexandra Babin, Ayana Rogers, Kelsi Chauvin, Kinsley Parault, London Greenfield, Maura Colligan, Vaughn Powell, Aiden Tanner, Alana Rodrigue, Alessandra Lewis, Alex Louque, Alie Causey, Andrew Bourque, Brooklyn Ivey, Bryson Bond, Daniel Wilkinson, Dynasty Watson, Elizabeth Bertucci, Elizabeth Delaney, Ella McGowan, Hannah Evans, Hannah May, Hattie LeBlanc, Jasmine Martinko, Johanna Stevens, Ka’tia Fisher, Kaeden Jones, Kaleigh Hass, Kate Blanchard, Kathryn Gonce, Kendal Waguespack, Leah Pranskey, Lillian Aucoin, Lydia Jordan, Macy Gray, Madison Jones, Morgan Cassard, Paris Simon, Peyton Ducote, Presley Womack, Raelynn Gautreau, Reese Babin and Rylee Metcalf.

Guild chair and fifth-grade teacher Trey Veazey directed the showcase. Also participating were counselor Ayla Exposé as lead choreographer, second-grade teacher Christina Bertucci as vocal coach, fourth-grade teacher Kaci Chidester as production designer and kindergarten teacher Erica Kraemer as production supervisor.
