LeBlanc’s Food Stores presented a check for $4,700 to Child Advocacy Services on June 10 in support of Child Abuse Prevention Month and the Blue Ribbon Campaign.

The money was collected by LeBlanc’s Food Stores from local community members and LeBlanc’s associates. Residents were able to purchase a blue ribbon for $1 to support services and awareness of the monthlong campaign.

The funds will go toward providing clinical and advocacy services to children in the Florida and River parishes, including Ascension, Assumption, East and West Feliciana, St. Charles, St. Helena, St. James, St. John, Livingston and Tangipahoa.
