Griffins and Gators shared a campus Monday as the Dutchtown High School campus became the temporary new home for St. Amant High School students forced out of their school after record floods.

To accommodate the new, cross-parish students, Dutchtown High students are attending classes from 6:55 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and the St. Amant students are in class from 12:30 p.m. to 5:10 p.m.

Students at four other schools — Galvez Primary, Galvez Middle, Lake Elementary and St. Amant Primary — were sharing campuses with other students as work continues to reopen those flood-damaged schools.
