Registration is underway for River Region Art Association’s Summer Art Camp at the St. Amant Recreation Center, 45404 Stringer Bridge Road.

The camp will be held in four weekly sessions and will cost $90 per session for youth ages 6 to 15, a news release from the association said.

All supplies and a daily snack will be provided.

May 15 is the deadline to pre-register for the sessions,which are set from 9 a.m. to noon each day, the release states.

The sessions are set for June 1-5, June 8-12, July 6-10 and July 13-17.

The small classes, divided by age level and art interest, are led by experienced teachers and artists.

Classes include:

PAINTING AND DRAWING: Art fundamentals using a wide variety of media such as tempera, watercolors, pastels, pencil, charcoal and acrylics

MIXED MEDIA AND PRINTMAKING: Creation of in-depth art projects using a combination of art methods such as printing, painting, drawing, printmaking and collage

SCULPTURE AND DECORATIVE ART: Creation of sculpture and decorative objects using a wide variety of media such as papier-mâché, modeling clay, wire, found objects and wood.

Class sizes are limited.
