Christian Pilgrim and Allyson Cambre will serve as valedictorians during Ascension Christian High School’s graduation ceremony at 2 p.m. May 16 at Household of Faith Church on Airline Highway in Gonzales.

Both valedictorians earned a 4.542 grade-point average

Hannah Blanchard, who graduates with a 4.348 GPA, was named salutatorian.

Pilgrim is the son of Sherwood and Holly Pilgrim. He has been a part of the Ascension Christian School System since kindergarten.

He will attend LSU in the fall, majoring in engineering.

He is a three-year member of the National Beta Club and played basketball for two years.

Cambre is the daughter of Jeffrey and Holly Cambre. She has been part of the Ascension Christian School System since the eighth grade. She will attend Southeastern University on an academic scholarship and major in kinesiology.

She is a two-year member of the National Honor Society, three-year member of the National Beta Club and has played volleyball, basketball and softball for five years.

Blanchard, the daughter of Todd Blanchard and Roxi Blanchard, plans to attend LSU in the fall and major in theater.

She is a two-year member of the National Honor Society, a three-year member of the National Beta Club and has played volleyball for four years and track for two years at the school.
