There were scary, funny, creative and sexy costumes at the annual Ascension Council on Aging's annual Halloween Party.

More than 150 senior citizens attended the party, which featured a costume contest and entertainment by the Route 61 band.

Judges for the event were employees from Peoples Health, Canon Hospice, Blue Cross and Gonzales Healthcare.

Frankie Tortorich won first place in the costume contest's scariest division, with Gail Barter in second place and Ricky Wilson in third place.

The prettiest category was won by Mary Chauff, with Stella Menne in second place and Pat Mayers in third place.

Margaret Delaune's spider costume won the first-place award in the most creative category, followed by Graylan Meyers and Noalie Dominguez.

In the funniest costume division, Barbara and Albert Castrogovannie won first place. Berta Carter earned second place, and Sally Guedry and Helen Geromini captured third place.

Jeanette Richardson's costume won first place in the sexiest category, with Lucille Taylor winning second place and Helen McNeal placing third.
