Dutchtown Primary School students gathered March 13 in the middle school gym for a pep rally in advance of standardized testing.
The rally began with a motivational speech by the Student of the Year Amaya Salone.
She shared encouraging words and testing tips.
Students in kindergarten through second-grade prepared cheers for each upper grade level. The cheers were followed by a comedic video prank on the students prepared by the faculty.
The program ended with a faculty/student basketball game, won by the students 13-10.
