The Pelican Point Waves swim team completed the Dual Meet Season Saturday with a 989-840 win against the Gramercy Marlins. The win concluded the fifth consecutive undefeated season for the Waves, according to a news release from the team.

This season, the Waves have competed against teams from Jefferson Terrace, Westminster, Parkview Oaks, Belle Terre and Gramercy, the release said.

Six swimmers — Olivia Brunet, Justin Chase, Alex Fruge, Vladimir Furl, Reece Gauldin and Bella McKeough — won first place in three individual events and were members of two winning relays during Saturday’s events.

Quad winners were Blaine Dodson, Bo Gautreau, Drue Guatreau, Ryan Hurst, Mia Robichaux, Myah Robichaux, Abby Schexnaydre, Jenna VanHoogstraten, Michelle West and Buddy Wright.

Swimmers placing three times at the meet were Alli Adams, Gabie Fouchi, Jonathan McKeough and Marissa Nichols.

The Waves will compete in the Bayou Summer Swim League Championships Saturday and Sunday in Gramercy and on July 12 at the All-Star Meet at Jambalaya Park in Gonzales.
