DUPLESSIS — Bishop Woods Road will be closed at La. 621 for four weeks starting Monday while drainage workers in Ascension Parish replace a bridge, parish officials said.

Workers will replace the Bayou Narcisse bridge on Bishop Woods with large box culverts to improve drainage, parish officials said in a statement.

The road north of Gonzales runs between La. 621 and Josh Brown Road and the bridge being replaced is near La. 621, parish officials said.

During the closure, traffic for Bishop Woods must enter and exit to the north from Duplessis Road.
