Registration is underway for the Community Sisterhood Summer STEM Camp to be held in Geismar.

Students in kindergarten through eighth grade are invited to register for camp, set for June 6-11 at 11453 La. 73.

The cost for the camp, which will teach science, technology, engineering, math, robotics and programming, is $33 .

According to a release from Community Sisterhood, the STEM camp will consist of hands on learning and STEM-related field trips geared toward fostering critical thinking skills, team building and problem solving skills.

Parents will drop off their child at 8:30 a.m. and pick them up at 3 p.m. Transportation will be provided for the field trips. Breakfast and lunch will be provided daily.
