The Louisiana Jaguars visited St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital during their recent trip to Memphis, Tennessee, for the Amateur Athletic Union Nationals.
The Jaguars donated $500 toward the hospital’s research efforts. Members of the team also toured the facility and met patients and their families.
The team met Breanna Bercegeay, a cancer survivor and Dutchtown Middle School cheerleader. The team wore shirts they purchased at the hospital’s gift shop. Their shirts said, “Wanted to play for those kids that were fighting.” The Jaguars challenge others to donate to the hospital by visiting www.stjude.org.
