The Ascension Parish Tourism Commission will host Taste of Ascension, a two-week dining event, from July 13-26.
Participating restaurants are Café Lafourche, Carli-Co Café, DeAngelo’s, Don’s Seafood, Galvez Seafood, Grapevine, Mike Andersons, Houmas House-Café Burnside, Mulligan’s Grill at Pelican Point Golf Club, Pelican Landing Grill, On the Half Shell, Sno’s Seafood, Tee Wayne’s Cajun Cookin’, The Cabin Restaurant and The Coffee House.
Restaurants will feature specially priced offers and fixed-price menu selections. The meals will vary in courses and have set prices. Participating restaurant menus will be listed at TasteofAscension.com.
Each participating restaurant has the opportunity to submit one recipe of its featured dish, which may be chosen for distribution across the country.
The Ascension Parish Tourism Commission will print recipe cards from the submission to be distributed to customers at the restaurant.
