Candidates for governor will gather at LSU on Tuesday in a special forum on higher education, and two River Parishes Community College students are likely to be there on the big screen, a news release said.

Student Government Association President Danyelle Parrish and Vice President Sandy Naquin will represent Louisiana’s community colleges in a video to be played during the forum and posted on the Louisiana Board of Regents website as well as on various social media.

A video crew from the board’s office traveled to Gonzales to videotape the two students. RPCC is one of two community colleges to be part of the video program.

The forum is sponsored by the Board of Regents.
