U.S. Achievement Academy honors ACHS students _lowres

Tamiko Stroud

Two Ascension Catholic High School students were named All-American Scholars.

Sophomores Tamiko Terraz Stroud and Paige Joseph were both nominated for the honor by guidance counselor Megan Ourso.

Stroud is the daughter of Ira and Tamiko Garrison and granddaughter of Bernard and Corella Francis Sr. and the late Janet Ganes Francis, of Donaldsonville, and Bo and Valerie Owens, of Phoenix, Arizona.

Joseph is the daughter of Oliver and Terry Joseph and the granddaughter of Barbara J. Washington, of White Castle, and Charles Gaines Sr. and the late Bernice Joseph Gaines, of Donaldsonville.

The United States Achievement Academy has honored students through recognition and scholarship opportunities for 35 years, according to the academy’s website.
