Dutchtown High School Griffin Girls earned several awards after competing March 1 and March 2 in the Contest of Champions Nationals at ESPN Wide World of Sports in Orlando, Fla.

The Griffin Girls won third place in the Medium Novelty/Character Division, a news release from the team said.

The team received a fourth-place win in the Medium Contemporary Division.

Erin Davis; co-captains Olivia Frederic and Colbi Landry; captain Marissa Lass and Haley Stone placed in the top 10 in the Officer Line Division.

Dallas Lipoma, Madelyn Hall, Macee’ Gautreau and Colbi Landry competed in the solo division. Lipoma finished in fifth place in the junior soloist division.

The team is led by sponsor Joy Kling, assistant sponsor Toyia Comminey and choreographer Jaclyn Tisdale.

The squad includes Alyssa Dardeau, Rebecca Curtis, Emma Boyd, Macee’ Gautreau, Jordan Templet, Madelyn Page, Lauren Guitreau, Berkley Parent, Hall, Jasmine Kling, Sydney Smith, Stone, Evan Butler, Lass, Frederic, Erin Davis,Landry and Lipoma.
