Artists and art lovers gathered Aug. 1 at the River Region Art Association’s Depot Gallery for the closing reception of the annual Red Hot Art Show.

First place ribbons for the exhibition were awarded to Peggy Carbo in painting; Kathy Daigle, drawing; Kathleen “Kitty” Kuhnert, photography; Leiana Loveday Funck, digital art; and Terry Farrell, three-dimensional.
