BAKER — Police are looking for a Baton Rouge man accused in the rape and beating of a woman last month, Police Chief Mike Knaps said.

Kenderick “Low-Low” Jackson, 29, of 11641 Lawrence St., is named in an arrest warrant accusing him of aggravated rape and second-degree battery, Knaps said.

Detectives interviewed a woman at a hospital on Sept. 26 who identified Jackson as the man who forced her into a wooded area off Jefferson Street in Baker and beat and raped her, the police chief said.

The victim suffered a broken nose and a fractured eye socket as a result of the attack, Knaps said.

Jackson is about 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs about 150 pounds.

Anyone knowing where police can find Jackson is asked to call the Police Department at (225) 775-6000 or CrimeStoppers at (225) 344-7867.
