BAKER — A 19-year-old Baker man has been arrested and booked with forcible rape for the second time in about four months, East Baton Rouge Parish Prison booking records show.

Christopher Sims, whose address was given as 2090 Main St., Room 105, in the booking records, was booked in Parish Prison on Friday on one count each of forcible rape and false imprisonment.

Sims also was arrested and booked March 5 on one count each of forcible rape and simple battery.

In the most recent incident, which happened May 28, Sims met his victim in a room at Western Inn on Main Street, according to an arrest warrant.

The victim tried to leave the room to call her boyfriend because she felt uncomfortable while Sims sat in a chair by the door, the warrant says.

Sims blocked the door, then began to rape the victim, the warrant says.

Sims left after the incident, the warrant says.

In the prior incident, on March 2, Sims was laying in bed with another woman when he got into an argument with her, threw her on the floor then raped her, according to a separate arrest warrant.

The victim later went to a hospital for treatment of injuries from the rape, the warrant says. Police were notified once the victim got to the hospital.

Sims’ bail for that arrest was set at $26,500, court records show.
