The Advocate's Classroom Spotlight this week is the Introduction to Media seminar held Jan. 20 hosted by the Audubon Regional Library and the East Feliciana 4-H. The students were asked:

Question: “Where do you get your news?”

Julia Brian, 19, of Pride, works at Audubon Regional Library: "Social media, TV, newspaper, radio."

Alden Ceasar, 20, of Baton Rouge, sophomore at LSU: "Online (i.e. Twitter)."

April Williams, 50, of Clinton, works at Division of Administration Medical Review Panel: "I get my news from radio, newspaper and television."

Dulcia Williams, 8, of Clinton, attends The Learning Center Academy: "I get my news from D.B. (newspaper from a store)"

Augusta Ceasar, 21, senior at SLU, student teacher at South Walker Elementary School: "I get my news from social media, (and) sites like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Snapchat."
