Livestock barn hosting mini-farm tours
Mini-farm tours at the parish livestock barn in St. Francisville will be open Friday, Jan. 19. The mini-farm will have animals, interactive exhibits about agriculture in Louisiana and exhibits from agriculture-related agencies.
All Head Start through fifth-grade classes as well as day care centers are invited.

MLK Service Day
The West Feliciana Education Foundation is holding a Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service from 9 a.m. to noon Monday, Jan. 15. At least 30 volunteers are needed to paint the 10 bathrooms at West Feliciana Middle School. Visit https://tinyurl.com/y9h7esvt to sign up. All supplies are provided.
The West Feliciana High School Football Banquet will be Feb. 1 at South of the Border. Tickets are $15, available in the office after 10 a.m. Football players admitted free.
The deadline for the Women's Service League's Community service scholarship is April 13.
The $1,000 scholarship is for a graduating high school senior in West Feliciana. Applicants must organize and lead a service activity as well as submit the application by the deadline. Application and requirements are available from the guidance counselor at West Feliciana High School or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
This is a strictly service-based scholarship and does not consider any academic achievement or other extracurricular activities.
4-H journalism class
