The Feliciana Soil and Water Conservation District, in cooperation with the Natural Resources Conservation Service, will host a group meeting at 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, at the USDA Service Center, 9752 Plank Road, Clinton.
The meeting will be about the USDA Environmental Quality Incentives Program, a conservation provision "that provides cost-sharing assistance for specific conservation practices for eligible participants," a news release said.

Feliciana Baptist Church presents The Foto Sisters at its community luncheon at 11:30 a.m., Thursday, March 1. Lunch is $3 and money will be collected at the door. People are asked to call or text (225) 683-3066 to register. An offering will be collected for the musicians.
A Louisiana Hunter Education Course will be held March 3-4 at the West Feliciana Parish Library, 5114 Burnett Road, St. Francisville. James Cook is the instructor.
The March 3 session is from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and March 4 is noon to 2 p.m.

Anyone born on or after Sept. 1, 1969, must successfully complete a Hunter Education Course in order to hunt in the state of Louisiana.
Golf and business
The East Feliciana Parish Chamber of Commerce will host a four-man scramble on from noon to 5 p.m. March 19 at The Bluffs on Thompson Creek Golf and Conference Resort. The Battle of the Siege of Port Hudson re-enactment starts at 9 a.m. March 24 and runs through 5 p.m. March 25 at Port Hudson Historical Site, 236 U.S. 61. This is the 155th anniversary of the siege. Standard entry fees for the site will apply.
