From the Sheriff's Office
In response to a note in this column last week explaining how residents can call to sign up for alerts, the West Feliciana Parish Sheriff's Office is asking people wanting to receive warning phone calls, known as Citizen Alerts, to use the internet to sign up. Visit www.wfpso.org and click on "Sign Up for Citizen Alerts."
Also at www.wfpso.org, the West Feliciana Parish Sheriff's Office has a link that allows residents to make anonymous crime tips. The department emphasized they will not know who left the information and no tip is too small. If you feel the sheriff's department needs to know about something going on but don't want to leave your name or have your phone traceable, visit the site.
