Slaughter Community Charter School recently released the names of its honor roll students for the first nine-week grading period.
Academic Dean Peggy Reno said achieving high marks takes a great deal of hard work, dedication and a commitment to learning.
“Parental support and encouragement are also key elements in student success,” Reno said. Reno congratulated the students for earning a “distinguished place on Slaughter Community Charter School’s Honor Roll.” Honored for earning a 4.0 grade-point average during the first grading period were:
11TH-GRADERS: Logan Box and Adrienne King.
10TH-GRADERS: Krista Box, Ashlynn Taylor and Rebecca Shields.
NINTH-GRADERS: Valerie Nunez and Tristyn Sexton.
