Vision Family Worship Center in Jackson held a two-mile breast cancer awareness walk in October. About 50 people joined the walk that went from the worship center to Centenary State Historic Site Park. “It was a moving and powerful opportunity to unite participants with survivors and to raise awareness for breast cancer,” Beth Dawson said. At the walk’s conclusion, gifts and refreshments were offered. “The group was energetic and inspiring, because about half made the return walk back to the worship center,” Dawson said. She said the walk’s theme was from 2 Corinthians 5:7, which states: “For we walk by faith not by sight.”
